2007 THEME
“The River”

The river runs through our lives in many ways; your inspiration may come from the beautiful flora and fauna, sports and recreation, cultural heritage or a simple interpretation of water.  Cash prizes will be awarded based on the best interpretation of the theme.

MEDIA

Paintings—oils, acrylics, mixed media and any combination of materials painted on a two dimensional surface.

Works on Paper—prints, watercolors, pastels or any material or combination of materials (pencil, ink or mixed media) on paper.

Sculpture—any three dimensional format created by any method of construction, limit 100 pounds.  Artists must supply pedestal if needed.

Photography—black and white or color photography.

Two dimensional work maximum 48 inches, including frame.  All work must be dry and ready to hang including eyes and wire.

The right to reject accepted work due to perceived dangerous conditions or non-compliance with the stated rules is reserved by the Board of the Arts Council.

SALES

Prices will be listed in the catalog.  Where no price is stated, it is presumed to be not for sale.  There will be a 30% commission collected by Williamsport-Lycoming Arts Council on all sold art.

ALL ACCEPTED ARTWORK MUST REMAIN ON THE EXHIBIT UNTIL THE END OF THE SHOW AUGUST 27th, 2007
