Who We Are & What We Do

The Williamsport-Lycoming Arts Council is a non-profit organization that has been providing services to local arts organizations since 1961. The Arts Council continues to provide the community with an on-going awareness of the arts, endeavoring to make them a daily part of life and accessible to all throughout our region. The Arts Council is active in presenting cultural events, arts in education, art in public places, festivals, and "gap programming" (filling an arts-discipline void or targeting a specific under-served segment of the population).

The Wiliamsport-Lycoming Arts Council is proud to be designated by the city of Williamsport to administer the Cultural Grant Program which supports regional arts and cultural organizations honoring community enrichment through the arts.
