The City of Williamsport
and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), in coordination with
the Williamsport-Lycoming Arts Council (WLAC), will regrant funds
to non-profit, arts-related organizations for the purpose of providing
arts-related activities within the boundaries of the City of Williamsport.
All programs must be conducted between June
1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. All applicants must complete a cultural
grant application form. A review panel will
evaluate the requests and make recommendations for funding. The
program will award a total of $5,000 in 2007. Organizations may
apply for up to $1,500.
Potential applicants are advised that the grant
award process will be highly competitive. A grant-writing and information
workshop will be held at 320 Elmira Street, 4th floor, the Williamsport
Lycoming Arts Council office location,

7, 2007 at 12:30
p.m. If you are planning to attend the workshop, please contact the
office for an appointment. All organizations interested in applying
for funding are strongly encouraged to attend. In addition,
WLAC staff will be available from 1:00 to 3:00p.m. on Wednesday,
March 7, 2007 to meet by appointment with individual organizations
about their applications.
The deadline for submitting applications is
Friday, March 23, 2007. Applications can be submitted in one of two
ways:
a) hand-delivered at 320 Elmira Street, 4th floor - the WLAC
office - no later than 3:00p.m.
or
b) by mail, postmarked on
or before Friday, March 23, 2007 to:
